Here's some activities done throughout my journey!

PRECAS   (CAS before   2019)

​

1. Dance Night (Creativity):  We (Class of 2021) Prepared Dance Night for Our Seniors, some skills that I developed was teamwork, our whole grade performed their best due to the way the work was organized and efforts.

​

2. Ploughing in the Field  (Activity): A trip that was organized by the school and some teachers were taken along for an environmental trip.

3. K9 Trip: A trip to the a shelter where dogs are kept  safe, all animals are saved and spend time with the animals there.

As a teenager in order to divert my mind from studies & using electronic devices, and during my free-time I’ve practiced writing calligraphy which is something I’m quite passionate about, personally love the different writing styles many of which I have practiced and know. At first it was difficult to get the perfect strokes while writing, however I got the hang of it once I practiced it daily.

 

This experience of mine was to develop my strength and skills, accomplish the ability to write in calligraphy and use it for my school work to be more creative.

After learning this I feel more confident and I am able to write in a different style other than normal writing.

Learning how to cook Indian food

Quarantine had been boring, and I wanted to do something productive during the Songkran break as I hadn’t been out of home in the past months,

I thought of learning cooking as that was something I wasn’t very skilled at. 

 

After learning this, I can proudly say that in order to live in dormitories I am ready with one skill of being able to cook good food!

MUN holds inter school conferences, whose purpose is to get together all the delegates of different countries to create resolutions, for the given issue (there could be many) each differ for each committee.

 

As a learning outcome something I learnt is team collaboration, skills on debating with formal skills.

PARASAILING

Activity (1)

During the winter break, I did Parasailing, and the purpose of this was to get rid of my fear of heights, I took the risk and succeeded! This was helpful as I gained confidence.

Kayaking

This was an opportunity of ACTIVITY, at first it was a bit tough to ride the boat, but got easier later and so an outcome of this is to keep trying and one day what you wish will be achieved!

Rock Climbing: Activity (3)

A general day out with I had gone rock climbing,

an outcome of this activity was to be strong! To overcome my fear of heights, as every time I went up I was scared to fall down harder, I set a mindset later on and made it to the top, as a result developed strength!

Jump Conference: Creativity (4)

An Social Action Workshop, based on the ways we think what we think, about ourselves and this really helped me figure out my personality and the thoughts of which are more important to me, and how they could play a role as to my thinking strength being biased or not.

Apart from studies this is one thing apart from dance i’m most passionate about, this has been one of my favorite things to do in my free time, personally this is how expressing feelings can be done effectively such as different shades of colors, As a result of this the outcome would be strength and growth and taking challenge to improve on my abilities.

Service (1)

Being a close friend to one of my friends who was about to start bakery business, I volunteered to support throughout and help her sell her bakery products more! An outcome of this would be learning how to do business, demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

An yearly inter school event, the goal is to raise awareness of the SDGs and plan ideas for creating a change. An outcome of this was to develop skills on raising awareness, be potential enough to make changes.

Mercy Center

This was my first time being a part of the serwis club, the goal of this trip was to visit the children at the Mercy Center, spend a few hours with them, making them feel loved. An outcome of this is to accomplish making the kids feel loved, become a better individual.

Service (5)

On 15 - 17 March, Held at ICS (International Community School) was an event called "serVICE", I was a part of that event and went to an BYB trip to the Ruth Center, where I helped old people who were not able to work themselves, gave them food, cleaned their houses, talk to them, as an individual I learnt the value of being grateful of what one has, as their lives were very difficult.

The purpose of this is to dance all night, this is a Gujarati form of dance style and celebrations
happen every year. An outcome of this is being fit and gaining strength.

I am a part of the Wells Events Management Committee and choose to help with distributing gifts to the assigned people.

Over the holidays I decided to learn how to drive a bike, so

me challenges were that learning how to drive at normal speed and

not falling, i overcame my fear and successfully learnt how to drive!

Driving an ATV

I took the risk of driving an ATV bike, it was a fun experience as I drove through rocky roads and uphill, downhill.
